YOUR ROLE
Aramark Food Services is currently recruiting for a Supervisor to join our team in Galway. Reporting to the Deputy General Manager, this individual will have responsibility for leading the shift and assist supervising the catering services provided in this restaurant. If you have a passion for food and service and thrive on working in a team, then this might be the ideal job for you. This is an excellent opportunity for somebody with a proven track record in supervising a high-street deli bar or similar environment.

**This is a permanent role working 5/7 days per week**
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist in completing the units operational requirements by scheduling and assigning

Comply with Aramark procedures in respect of Opx and system requirements

Implement Aramark policies and protocols that will maintain future retail operations
-
Assist with the units targets, scorecard & payroll
-
Conduct regular 360 audits to make sure the unit is functional and presentable
-
Make sure all staff comply with Aramark policies and procedures
-
Co-ordinate daily front-of-house/back-of-house retail operations
-
Assist in the delivery of a monthly inventory of all shop stock

Follow and implement Aramark's health and safety policy and procedures
-
Identify current and future customer requirements by understanding sales mixes
-
Act as our unit representative and set an example for our staff
-
Train new and current employees on proper customer service practices
-
Ensure retail unit is merchandised and all stock lines are presented in line with approved planograms
-
Respond efficiently and accurately to customer complaints
-
In the absence of the Retail Manager, be the lead operator of the retail unit
-
Any other duties deemed appropriate by the Retail Manager
REQUIREMENTS
You have:
A passion for delivering an excellent service
Experience with the use of Food Hygiene practices, for example, HACCP
Excellent interpersonal, communication & organisational skills to liaise effectively with various other departments
Outgoing personality is reliable & dependable
Flexible and the ability to work under pressure and prioritise
Strong attention to detail

Fluent English

Excellent customer Service skills

Experience in merchandising, working with brands and promotions would be a distinct advantage

At least 1 years' experience in a supervisory or assistant manager capacity in a high-end cafe/coffee shop or high street restaurant setting

Problem-solving mind and solutions-orientated approach with a flexible can-do attitude
