Within the Azimut Group - Leader in the promotion, management and distribution of financial and insurance products and services -, and its Dublin-based Life Insurance subsidiary Azimut Life Dac, the candidate will be part of the Operations Team, assisting with day-to-day management and flow monitoring. The candidate will be involved in the following activities:
- Supporting the trading desk in the entry, reception and execution of orders, with reference to the main financial instruments used by the Company, among which futures and currency forwards, both through systems of order routing and by interacting directly with external counterparties.
- Assisting the portfolio managers in any periodical activities of portfolio analysis cash projections.
- Interacting with the depositary banks and with the administration department for the resolution of any settlement issues.
- Supporting and supervising the external provider with processing the asset allocations of internal dedicated funds.
- Supporting the team in the activity of supervising the external provider when dealing with counterparties (brokers and custodians) in the settlement and recording of buying / selling securities (equities, bonds, derivatives, forex) and with the transfer agents in relation to the trading of mutual funds.
- Supporting the team in the activity of supervising the external Fund Administrator on the daily activities for the Internal Funds' NAV calculation process.
- Supporting the team in the activity of supervising external providers responsible for the management of the insurance policies.
Requirements
The ideal candidate has a degree in economics or finance and two-three years' work experience in equivalent role in financial and/or insurance contexts.
- Demonstrate a good knowledge of markets, financial and insurance instruments, combined with excellent data analysis skills.
- Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Propensity to team work, focus on meeting deadlines and cut off times, reliability, flexibility and professional resilience.
- Good knowledge of the main informative programs, with the knowledge of Bloomberg considered a plus.
- Fluency in English and Italian is required.
