We at RFC Security Group are happy to announce that we are currently seeking a professional and experienced Retail Security Officer to join our ever-expanding team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of staff, customers, and property within a high-profile retail environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide a visible security presence to deter theft, anti-social behaviour, and safety incidents
- Monitor and patrol the retail premises, responding to incidents as required
- Carry out loss prevention duties, including bag checks and CCTV monitoring
- Report incidents clearly and accurately using company procedures
- Liaise effectively with store management and members of the public
- Remain calm and act professionally under pressure
Essential Requirements
- Minimum 1 year experience in Retail Security in Ireland
- Valid PSA (Private Security Authority) Licence
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to remain observant, alert, and proactive
- Full flexibility, including availability to work weekends, evenings, and public holidays
- Strong professional appearance and attitude
Desirable
- Manual handling or first aid certification
- Experience dealing with conflict resolution
- Familiarity with retail reporting systems and bodycam operation
