We are looking for an experienced enthusiastic and dedicated Creche Manager to join our team at Gatelodge Childcare. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about early years education, and in maintaining a warm nurturing environment for children and families.
responsibilities will include:
Leading, supporting and motivating our childcare team
Ensuring the delivery of high-quality care and early learning
Managing the day-to-day operation of the crèche
Supporting staff with planning, observations and children’s development
Maintaining strong relationships with parents and families
Ensuring compliance with Tusla, Síolta, Aistear and all relevant childcare regulations
Managing staff rotas, attendance and daily staffing requirements
Supporting recruitment, induction and ongoing staff development
Maintaining accurate records and documentation
Promoting a positive, welcoming and professional environment
Dealing confidently and professionally with any issues that arise
Working closely with the owner to continually develop and improve the service
We are looking for someone who is:
Qualified and experienced in Early Years Education and Care
An experienced leader with excellent communication skills
Passionate about providing exceptional care and learning opportunities
Organised, reliable and able to work well under pressure
Warm, approachable and confident when communicating with parents
A strong team player who can motivate and support staff
Knowledgeable about childcare regulations and best practice
Committed to maintaining a high standard of care and professionalism
Previous management experience within an early years setting is essential.
