Hanley Landscaping Ltd. is a growing landscaping and fencing contractor based in the West of Ireland. Due to continued expansion, we are looking for a motivated and reliable Landscape Operative to join our team.
This is a full-time position with a variety of work including landscaping, garden maintenance and fencing on residential, commercial and construction sites.
Responsibilities
- Garden and grounds maintenance
- Hedge cutting, strimming and grass cutting
- Planting, mulching and general landscaping
- Installation of concrete, timber and wire mesh fencing
- Paving and other hard landscaping works
- Loading and unloading materials
- Manual handling and heavy lifting
- Operating landscaping equipment and power tools
- Maintaining a safe, clean and professional work environment
- Working as part of a team to deliver high-quality projects
What we're looking for
- Reliable, hardworking and punctual
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn
- Physically fit and comfortable carrying out manual work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Able to work well both independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills
- A commitment to carrying out work safely and to a high standard
Preferred qualifications
- Previous experience in landscaping, fencing or construction
- Valid Safe Pass
- Manual Handling Certificate
- Full clean driving licence (preferred)
- Experience operating machinery such as mini excavators, dumpers or telehandlers is an advantage, but not essential.
