SHEQ Officer (HVAC Manufacturing & Contracting)
With a strong Data Centre project pipeline and continued expansion of our product offerings and markets, we are seeking a SHEQ officer. To support and maintain the company's Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality (SHEQ) systems. Working across our offices, manufacturing facilities and installation projects to ensure compliance with legislation, company policies and standards while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Based in our Dublin office with some requirements to travel.
Duties and Responsibilities
Health & Safety

Implement and monitor the company's Health and Safety Management System.

Conduct regular workplace inspections, audits, and risk assessments.

Prepare and review Method Statements and Risk Assessments (RAMS).

Investigate accidents, incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions, ensuring corrective actions are implemented.

Deliver safety inductions and toolbox talks to employees and subcontractors.

Maintain accurate health and safety records and documentation.
-
Monitor contractor compliance with site safety requirements.
-
Support emergency preparedness planning and evacuation procedures.
-
Ensure compliance with applicable Health & Safety legislation and industry best practices.
Environmental Management
-
Monitor environmental aspects and impacts associated with manufacturing and installation activities.

Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and permits.
-
Promote waste reduction, recycling, and sustainable work practices.
-
Conduct environmental inspections and audits.
-
Investigate environmental incidents and implement corrective actions.
Quality Assurance
-
Support the maintenance and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System.
- Monitor compliance with project specifications, procedures, and quality standards.

Participate in internal and external audits.

Assist with non-conformance reporting and corrective action management.

Support customer quality requirements and continuous improvement initiatives.
Compliance & Documentation

Maintain SHEQ records, certifications, and statutory documentation.

Prepare SHEQ reports and KPI performance metrics.

Assist with ISO management system compliance and certification audits.

Ensure all documentation is controlled and maintained in accordance with company procedures.
Training & Awareness
-
Deliver SHEQ training and awareness programs.
-
Promote a positive SHEQ culture across manufacturing and site operations.

Provide guidance and support to employees, supervisors, and managers on SHEQ matters.
Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience
Essential
-
Diploma or Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Management, Engineering, or a related discipline.

NEBOSH General Certificate, IOSH Managing Safely, or equivalent Health & Safety qualification.

Strong knowledge of Health & Safety legislation.
-
Minimum 3 years' SHEQ experience within manufacturing, construction, engineering, or HVAC environments.

Experience conducting risk assessments, audits, and incident investigations.

Experience developing and maintaining SHEQ documentation and procedures.
-
Valid driver's licence.
-
Willingness to travel as required.
- Valid EU working rights / visa required..
Desirable
-
ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 knowledge and auditing experience.

Experience within HVAC, construction, manufacturing, MEP, or building services sectors.

Membership of a recognised SHEQ professional body.

Experience within HVAC manufacturing and installation projects.
-
Experience managing subcontractor compliance.
-
Experience working in live construction or industrial environments.
