Commercial Aftermarket Regional Sales Manager, Europe

The Regional Sales Manager will own sales and business development of Moog’s Commercial Aftermarket business in Europe. This position will lead regional activity but will also work closely with the global team to develop strategic and tactical plans.
This role reports directly to the Business Unit Director, Airframe, and will be based in Dublin, Ireland with a hybrid working arrangement.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for executing the sector sales and long-term growth strategy.
- Develop, maintain, and grow Moog’s position in the Commercial Aircraft business segment.
- Promote and strengthen intimacy with Moog customers.
- Develop strong partnerships with internal Moog partners, including Operations and the Customer Service Center.
- Develop strategic plans with the New Business Development and Strategy Director and lead implementation of tactical decisions.
- Own and maintain inputs to the sales forecast with a focus on timely reporting.
Qualifications & Experience
To be considered for the Regional Sales Manager position here’s what you would typically bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Aviation Management, Business, or related field.
- A minimum of 10 years of sales experience in an MRO field or aviation industry is required.
- Demonstrated excellence with oral and written communication, with proven skills up to executive levels in prior roles.
- Experience with developing and selling flight hour contracts would be an advantage.
- Proven general capabilities/competencies in direct sales, contract negotiations, relationship building and account management.
- Proven specific capabilities/competencies in developing accurate forecasts, achieving sales goals, and effective distributor & representative management.
- Demonstrated technical/engineering knowledge and ideally with experience in aircraft engines.
- Willingness to travel is required.
- Fully authorization to work in Ireland.
- Fluent English is required.
