Role Overview
We are seeking a HR Generalist to take ownership of day-to-day HR operations and support the delivery of the people strategy. This is a hands-on, varied role where you will manage the full employee lifecycle while also contributing to culture, engagement, and continuous improvement of HR processes.
Key Responsibilities
Employee Lifecycle Management
- Manage end-to-end employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, contract management, role changes, and offboarding.
- Ensure a positive and seamless employee experience throughout the employee journey.
HR Operations & Compliance
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR systems.
- Ensure HR policies, procedures, and documentation remain compliant with Irish employment legislation and best practices.
- Support HR audits, reporting requirements, and data accuracy initiatives.
Employee Support & Advisory
- Act as a first point of contact for managers and employees on HR-related matters.
- Provide practical HR guidance and support across a range of people processes and employee relations matters.
- Resolve employee queries in a timely, professional, and confidential manner.
Performance & Development
- Support performance management processes, including goal setting, review cycles, and feedback discussions.
- Assist in the coordination and delivery of learning and development initiatives.
Culture, Engagement & Inclusion
- Support employee engagement initiatives that reinforce company culture and values.
- Contribute to diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives and foster an inclusive workplace environment.
- Assist with internal communications and employee events and activities.
Recruitment & Onboarding
- Support recruitment activities, including interview coordination and candidate experience.
- Deliver an effective and engaging onboarding experience for new hires.
Process Improvement
- Identify opportunities to improve HR processes, systems, and ways of working.
- Support the implementation of HR initiatives, projects, and system enhancements to improve efficiency and employee experience.
Requirements
- 3+ years' experience in a generalist HR role.
- Strong knowledge of Irish employment legislation and HR best practices.
- Experience supporting managers and employees across a broad range of HR activities.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth, or dynamic environment.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and deliver results.
- Experience using HRIS platforms (e.g., HiBob or similar).
- CIPD qualification or equivalent HR qualification preferred.
