SOCIAL WORKER TEAM LEADER
ST VINCENTS CENTRE, LIMERICK
ADULT DAY SERVICES
(with a support component TO NORTH Tipperary Day Services).
PERMANENT PART-TIME CONTRACT (17.5 Hours Per Week).
Salary: 72,407 -83,520
- Salary subject to Relevant Public Sector Experience and pro-rated for hours of work.

Essential:
- A NQSW or equivalent professional social worker qualifications
- 3 years post qualification social worker experience with a depth and breadth of experience in services for people with a disability.
- Be registered with the Social Workers Professional Register (CORU) and have an active CPD Portfolio
- Full clean driving license and use of a car.
- Certificate of completion for Safeguarding Adults at Risk of Abuse - E-learning module, and experience of safeguarding.
- Certificate of completion for Designated officer training for Safeguarding Vulnerable Persons at Risk of Abuse 2014, National Policy and Procedures, or requirement to complete same. (This is a key responsibility for the role advertised - to ensure compliance with national Safeguarding Policy.)
- Demonstrate the ability to ensure high standards in the delivery of a quality social work service for people with a disability.
- Demonstrate skill in organizing and planning
- Demonstrate the ability to provide leadership, supervision, and effective therapeutic intervention.
- Demonstrate initiative and innovation in identifying areas for service development and improvement.
- Display effective interpersonal and communication skills including skills in multidisciplinary
- working and the ability to collaborate with colleagues, supported individuals and families.
- Provide motivation and support to optimize service delivery by developing teams and promoting change management initiatives.
- Applicants should possess Level 2 behavioural competencies of Avista competency framework
