The Role
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Site Manager to join the team on a large industrial fit-out project based in South Tipperary.
The successful candidate will take responsibility for overseeing day-to-day site operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. This role will suit a proactive construction professional who is comfortable managing subcontractors, coordinating site activities, and maintaining strong communication with both clients and design teams.
Key Responsibilities
Health & Safety
- Promote and maintain a strong safety culture across all site activities
- Ensure all site personnel complete the necessary inductions and safety briefings
- Develop and implement task-specific RAMS and safe systems of work
- Maintain project-specific safety documentation throughout the lifecycle of the project
- Ensure appropriate control measures are in place when operating in live or occupied environments
- Monitor site activities to ensure full compliance with all health and safety regulations
Site & Project Delivery
- Oversee daily site operations and ensure works are carried out in accordance with programme requirements
- Coordinate subcontractors, labour, plant, and materials effectively
- Monitor site resources to minimise waste, delays, damage, and unnecessary costs
- Raise and manage RFIs with the design and project teams where required
- Maintain accurate site records, reports, and daily diaries
- Ensure works are completed in line with drawings, specifications, and project standards
Quality & Compliance
- Carry out regular inspections to ensure quality standards are maintained throughout the build process
- Support the implementation of environmental and quality management procedures
- Ensure site welfare facilities and overall site presentation are maintained to a professional standard
- Monitor works closely to ensure compliance with contractual requirements and approved variations
Requirements
- Strong understanding of construction health & safety legislation and best practices
- Proven experience managing fit-out or construction projects on site
- Excellent knowledge of construction methodologies, sequencing, and materials
- Ability to coordinate subcontractors and manage site programmes effectively
- Experience working within regulated or technically complex environments is advantageous
- Good commercial awareness and understanding of contract documentation
- Strong communication, organisational, and leadership skills
- Experience using construction management systems and digital reporting tools preferred

Pay: €65,000.00-€80,000.00 per year
