Job description:
M&P O'Sullivan are seeking a highly motivated Purchasing Administrator to join our Trading team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Trading department in all aspects of purchasing, from order placement to inventory management. The Purchasing Administrator will work closely with vendors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of goods and services, and to maintain accurate records of procurement transactions.
Responsibilities:

Process purchase orders, including verifying specifications, pricing, and delivery dates.

Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.

Maintain accurate records of procurement transactions, including purchase orders, receipts, invoices, pricing, bonuses and delivery reports.

Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers to ensure adequate stock levels.

Respond to inquiries from internal stakeholders regarding purchase orders and delivery status.

Prepare reports on purchasing activity and inventory levels.

Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.

Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:

2+ years of experience in similar role.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
