About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and driven Junior Mechanical Engineer to join our growing team in Cork. Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the development, and implementation of mechanical systems and components.
- Produce technical documentation.
- Support senior engineers in conducting BOQs, calculations, testing, and analysis.
- Participate in project meetings, site visits, and inspections where required.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, troubleshooting, and problem-solving activities.
- Ensure all work complies with relevant standards, regulations, and company procedures.
- Implementation of quality control measures.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Strong technical aptitude and an interest in design, manufacturing, or mechanical systems.
- Proficiency with CAD tools (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or equivalent).
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and analytical skills.
- Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and develop new skills.
- Eligibility to work in Ireland.
Desirable Skills (Not Essential)
- Internship or placement experience in an engineering environment.
- Knowledge of industry standards (ISO, ASME, etc.).
