About the Role
You'll be the face of Earls Shop and Cafe, helping to serve customers across both our shop and cafe areas. Duties will vary day to day and may include serving food and drinks, operating the till, restocking shelves, keeping the shop and cafe clean and welcoming, and helping with basic food prep.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and serve customers in a warm, friendly manner
- Prepare and serve hot and cold drinks, snacks, and light meals
- Operate the till and handle cash/card payments accurately
- Stock shelves, rotate stock, and maintain product displays
- Keep the shop floor, counters, and seating areas clean and tidy
- Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times
- Assist with deliveries and stockroom organization
- Support the wider team during busy periods
What We're Looking For
- Friendly, approachable, and customer-focused attitude
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Previous experience in retail, hospitality, or catering is an advantage but not essential
- Flexibility to work mornings, weekends, and/or holiday periods
- Basic food hygiene knowledge (training can be provided)
Pay: €14.15-€15.83 per hour
