Our client is one of the world's leading and highly regarded truck manufacturers, known for innovation and excellence in the industry. As part of their continuous growth, they are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Technical Support Advisor to join their dynamic team.
As a Technical Support Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in providing technical assistance and product support to their internal personnel, dealer network and suppliers.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting remote diagnoses and offering technical advice to their dealer network to maximize vehicle on-road activity and reduce workshop turnaround time.
- Supporting internal teams and the dealer network with advice and guidance on product configurations, ensuring customer needs are accurately translated into product specifications.
- Promoting the capabilities of their products and services, delivering value to dealers and customers in every interaction.
- Efficiently processing telephone and email enquiries as part of a collaborative team effort.
- Communicating with the dealer network and liaising with their representatives to resolve quality or technical issues promptly.
- Prioritizing customer satisfaction by consistently putting the customer first.
- Developing and implementing programs to enhance dealer product knowledge, particularly in new technologies, including electric vehicles.
- Maintaining market intelligence by monitoring competitor products.
- Participating in manufacturer product marketing events and scheduled online calls.
- Assisting in creating technician training courses in collaboration with the manufacturer and third-party training providers and ensuring their rollout to the network.
- Participating in ongoing technical training to stay updated on new technologies and products.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- Technician Qualification (Motor Mechanic – HGV Mechanic).
- Experience with diagnostic equipment, heavy commercial vehicles, electric vehicles or a keen interest in the same is advantageous.
- Previous experience in dealing with customers is advantageous.
- Strong computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office Systems (Word, Excel, Outlook) and dealer management systems is advantageous.
- Effective communication skills to resolve issues with the dealer network personnel and internal staff.
- Customer-oriented with the ability to understand and identify the needs of customers from different product segments.
- Good telephone communicator, displaying professionalism, knowledge, and enthusiasm.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive working relationships.
- Flexibility and willingness to carry out various tasks and activities as required.

Pay: €45,000.00-€48,000.00 per year
