INVESTMENT ANALYST - PAYVATION LIMITED - FAMILY OFFICE - DUBLIN
Working for Payvation Limited - a family office, the role of Investment Analyst reports to the Investment Manager. The role has broad accountability with involvement in many areas of investment (early stage funds), private banking and payments/fintech businesses.
Via the family office primary investment vehicle Payvation Limited, the role of the Investment Analyst involves working in the following areas:
Strategy– assisting with the development and presentation of strategy papers and senior management/board level engagement for the family office and its assets – including, Fire – a payment services business.
Portfolio Management– managing the asset allocation of the investment portfolio and providing regular updates/analysis on performance of current investments across all funds and holdings. This includes tracking portfolio performance, cash flows, and maintaining up to date investment records and documentation.
Engagement– build and maintain relationships with relevant stakeholders (including current and potential investments). Regularly meet with stakeholders securing updates and providing feedback and recommendations to the CEO, serving as the primary point of contact for outsourced finance providers and banking partners.
Representation– represent the firm as an investor and if necessary taking board positions in portfolio businesses, supporting the preparation of board and investment committee meetings including agendas, materials, and minutes.
Investment Process– leading at all stages of the investment process including financial modelling, commercial insights, scenario analysis, due diligence and investment closing, with hands on involvement in assessing venture capital opportunities.
Managing Providers– liaising with accountants, tax legal advisors on an ongoing basis to ensure sound financial reporting and governance.
Reporting Administration– preparing and consolidating regular and ad-hoc reports for the CEO and senior management, supporting monitoring of philanthropic activities and maintaining internal systems, databases and reporting templates.
The role is based in Dublin and operates as three days a week in the office and two days remote. It is a hands-on role requiring a self-sufficient capable candidate, who is expected to have strong business acumen, keen interest in investing and an appreciation of early-stage businesses.
