# ☕ Barista / Coffee Shop Team Member
### New Coffee Shop – Springfield, Tallaght
We are a new coffee shop opening in Springfield, Tallaght, and we’re looking for passionate, professional and friendly Baristas / Coffee Shop Team Members to join our team.
We are looking for people who take pride in their work, have a genuine passion for coffee and customer service, and can help us create a welcoming, high-quality experience for every customer.
### What We’re Looking For
- Previous coffee shop/barista experience is required
- Strong latte art skills are essential – this is one of our biggest priorities
- Good knowledge of espresso preparation and coffee-making techniques
- Experience making popular drinks such as matcha lattes and other specialty beverages
- Açaí bowl experience is a bonus
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Friendly, professional and approachable personality
- Punctual and reliable
- High standards of cleanliness and hygiene
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy environment
- Good attention to detail and presentation
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Willingness to learn and adapt to our menu and way of working
- Positive attitude and professional appearance
- Ability to maintain a clean, organised and welcoming workspace
- Strong work ethic and pride in delivering consistently high-quality drinks and food
### The Role
Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing high-quality coffee and specialty drinks
- Producing consistent and attractive latte art
- Preparing matcha and other popular menu drinks
- Preparing and presenting food, including açaí bowls
- Taking customer orders and providing excellent service
- Operating the till and handling payments
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
- Restocking and organising the coffee bar
- Opening and/or closing duties where required
- Working efficiently during busy periods
- Helping to create a friendly, professional atmosphere for customers and colleagues
