As an Installer / Trainee Installer, you will be responsible for installing new aluminium or uPVC windows and doors under the supervision of an experienced Installer. You will always work on installations alongside another experienced Installer(s).

Main responsibilities (under supervision where required) :
· You are required to read drawings/sketches and adhere to instructions to fully grasp installation requirements and bring any queries to the attention of the experienced Installer to avoid costly mistakes.
· You are responsible for installing and fixing doors and windows and associated flashings and ironmongery in place safely, and to a high-quality standard, making sure they are level and secure.
· You will be responsible for the removal of old windows and doors with hand and power tools before installation under supervision of experienced Installer, where required.
· You will seal windows / doors to make them weather tight.
· You are responsible for cleaning away leftover materials, particularly ensuring that residential homes are left in a very clean and tidy condition following installations.
· You must at all times work in a safe manner adhering to relevant health and safety policies particularly when on building sites.
· You must act responsibly, safely and sensibly on all jobs as a representative of Ellipsis Aluminium.
· You will be required to carry out any other reasonable tasks by Ellipsis management as requested which may include fabrication, assisting with deliveries and general tidy up of factory.
Occasionally:
· You may need to help with fabrication duties.

- You will be required to carry out any other reasonable tasks by Ellipsis Management as requested which may include fitting on site, assisting with deliveries and general tidy up of factory.

· You, yourself MUST at all times work in a safe manner adhering to relevant health and safety policies, when on site and in factory environment, setting an example to all other staff.
Essential skills/ Experience / Certs required:
Proficiency in use of power tools such as cordless drills, grinders etc
Team player
Good communication skills
Safe pass cert (training will be provided while at Ellipsis where required)
Manual Handling cert (training will be provided while at Ellipsis where required)
Desired Skills/experience required but not essential
Driving license
Note: Regular and predictable attendance, the ability to safely perform tasks, and adherence to all safety policies and procedures are essential functions of your job.
Pay: €28,300.00-€39,000.00 per year
