General scope of the role:
As a HGV Driver, you will liaise with the logistics supervisor to ensure that delivers are made in a safe and timely manner.
General Responsibilities:
- Complete all collections and deposits as scheduled to ensure effective and efficient service to all customers and facilities.
- Ensure that on arrival, the delivery is safe to make and does not cause damage to property.
- Unload and check delivery’s with Site Team/Client
- Conduct routine maintenance and safety inspections every day.
- Adhere to the Driver Hour Limits and Tachograph Law.
- Clean trucks as scheduled and / or required. Maintain the cleanliness of the cab.
- Report any incidents or accidents as soon as possible and in compliance with the company's accident reporting procedure.
Skills Required:
- Clean relevant Drivers Licence.
- Up to date CPC Driver qualification.
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
- Valid Safe Pass.
Pay: €18.08 per hour
