Accounts Payable Administrator - 1 year contract

Key responsibilities:
Invoice Processing
-
Receive, review, and process supplier invoices in a timely and accurate manner.
- Match invoices to purchase orders and supporting documentation where required.
- Verify coding and approvals in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Resolve invoice discrepancies and follow up on missing approvals.
Supplier Account Management

Maintain and update supplier records, including contact and banking information.
- Respond to supplier queries regarding invoices, payments, and account balances.
- Reconcile supplier statements and investigate outstanding items.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with suppliers and internal departments.
Payment Processing

Assist with the preparation and execution of weekly and monthly payment runs.
- Ensure payments are processed accurately and within agreed payment terms.
- Monitor accounts payable balances and identify overdue invoices for resolution.
- Support the management of employee expense claims where applicable.
Financial Administration

Maintain accurate accounts payable records and filing systems.
- Assist with month-end activities, including accruals and reconciliation tasks.
- Prepare reports and supporting documentation for audits and financial reviews.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and Irish VAT requirements.
About You:
-
Previous experience in an Accounts Payable, Finance Administration, or Bookkeeping role.
- Strong administrative and data-entry skills with a high level of accuracy.
- Good understanding of basic accounting principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Experience using accounting or ERP systems.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
