- Full-time, permanent position. 5 days, 37.5 hours per week. Monday-Friday.
- 2+ years' Dental TCO experience essential.
- Must have knowledge of specialist dental treatment.

Reporting to: Practice Manager
Summary of Role
The Treatment Coordinator is responsible for enhancing the patient experience by acting as a liaison between the Dentist and the patient. The TCO assists in the gathering and organising of information and documentation at all stages of the patient journey, ultimately coordinating a treatment plan with the Dentist and presenting it to the patient
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Develop rapport with patients by providing treatment information & reassurance.
- Act as a liaison between Dentist and patient: be present during consultations, discuss and agree patient treatment plan with Dentist, discuss treatment plan costs with patients and ensure they are up-to-date on agreed payment schedule etc.
- Work with the Dentists in the practice (particularly specialists or those with a specialist interest) to devise a strategy to improve treatment uptake.
- Maximise provider diaries to ensure efficient use of time and to improve revenue per hour through zoning, treatment plan follow-up and price improvements.
- Engage in proactive diary management through the use of cancellation lists, cancellation policy, appointment reminders, recalls, tracking cancelled/FTA appointments etc.
- Assist with incoming as well as outgoing referrals in the practice.
- Assist with training and upskilling of clinical staff.
