We are seeking a motivated and experienced Civil Engineer to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing civil engineering projects, carrying out GPS-based setting out and surveying activities, monitoring site costs, and providing regular progress reports to the Contracts Manager.

Key Responsibilities
- Carry out GPS setting out and surveying for civil engineering projects.
- Ensure all works are completed in accordance with drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
- Monitor and record site progress, ensuring projects remain on schedule.
- Track and manage site costs, labour, plant, and materials.
- Prepare and submit accurate site reports, progress updates, and cost information.
- Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel.
- Identify and resolve technical and operational issues on site.
- Maintain quality control and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Attend site meetings and provide regular updates to the Contracts Manager.
- Assist with project planning, programming, and resource allocation.
Requirements
- Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- Experience in civil engineering, groundworks, infrastructure, or utility projects.
- Proficiency in GPS surveying and setting-out equipment.
- Strong understanding of construction drawings and specifications.
- Experience monitoring site costs and preparing project reports.
- Good organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- Full clean driving licence.
Desirable
- Experience with AutoCAD and surveying software.
- Knowledge of Irish construction regulations and standards.
- Previous experience working with Contracts Managers and project delivery teams.
