We are looking for a dynamic individual looking to join our team in the role of Sales & events executive at the Savoy Hotel
Duties And Responsibilities
- Sales role with responsibility for meetings & events, including all food and beverage outlets within The Savoy Hotel & our offsite outlets, Hamptons Bar & Grill New York Style Grill House, Da Vincenzo at The George Hotel
- Update Guestline CRM,
- Prepare proposals, track and follow up all on enquiries in a professional, timely fashion
- Follow up on all decision dates and issue client contracts for all events
- Input all meetings & events information into Guestline and generate function sheets
- Host weekly events meeting and ensure effective communication throughout all departments
- Telesales Calls
- Assist Sales Team with site inspections, FAM trips and show arounds of the hotel
- Liaise with Conference & Events Manager to ensure the smooth running of the department
- Post event follow up, providing feedback to relevant department heads
- Ensure correct billing and invoicing
- Endeavour to meet budget in all relevant areas and upsell all outlets and sister property hotel
- To carry out duties as requested by the sales team

Skills Requirement
- Minimum two years previous Sales and Events experience in a 4 or 5 star hotel
- Previous experience of Opera/Guestline or similar would be desirable
- Excellent customer care skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Be organised and able to achieve targets and work to deadlines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Fluent English, spoken and written
