We are looking for a reliable, hardworking Warehouse Operative & Delivery Assistant to join our growing team in Carrigaline.
This is a hands-on role involving warehouse operations, stock handling, customer deliveries and assisting with the smooth day-to-day running of the business. The successful candidate will take pride in maintaining a clean, organised and safe warehouse while providing excellent service during flooring and furniture deliveries.
A positive attitude, strong work ethic and willingness to work as part of a team are essential.
The working hours are 08:00 - 17:00 Monday to Friday. Part-time candidates may also be considered provided that you can work full days.
Key Duties:
- Receive and unload deliveries from suppliers.
- Check incoming stock against delivery notes and report any shortages or damage.

- Handle products safely and accurately within the warehouse and on deliveries to prevent damage. Report any delivery issues or damages immediately.
- Pick and prepare customer orders.
- Wrap, secure and load orders for collection or delivery.
- Deliver flooring, furniture and accessories to customers' homes.
- Assemble basic furniture where required (training provided if necessary).
- Maintain accurate stock locations and assist with stock counts.
- Keep the warehouse clean, tidy and organised at all times.
- Dispose of packaging materials safely and recycle where possible.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely (training provided where required).
- Represent the company professionally at all times.
- Follow all company health and safety procedures.
Skills & Experience:
- Experience in a busy warehouse or furniture and flooring deliveries an advantage but not necessary
- Excellent timekeeping and reliability
- Working knowledge of MS Office packages & experience of working with computerised systems
- Current forklift licence for reach and counterbalance (Desirable)
- Current manual handling certificate
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Pay: €14.50-€16.50 per hour
