Experienced carpenter or highly skilled finishing operative required by One-Stop-Shop Home Retrofit company in the Dublin / Leinster region. The successful candidate will play a key role in the delivery of home energy upgrades to a high standard of finish and customer service and will have the opportunity to work in a positive environment in the growing energy retrofit sector.
Candidates should be able to work proactively within a team and on their own initiative and be able work out solutions on the job. The work is varied and challenging and no two days are the same.
The role will cover the following responsibilities:
Generally making good internal and external finishes after the installation of home energy upgrade measures such as insulation, windows, heat pumps, ventilation systems, solar PV, etc
Taking down small sections of ceilings or wall, insulating, making airtight and re-slabbing
Draughtproofing with tapes, membrane and sealants.
Installation of demand control ventilation systems
Company Van, phone, PPE, workwear provided.
Tradesperson with their own tools is preferable but some tools can be provided if required.
