Bunratty Castle Hotel is seeking an experienced, professional, and customer-focused Night Manager to oversee hotel operations during the night shift. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who thrives in a hospitality environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences.
As Night Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the hotel during overnight hours, maintaining the highest standards of guest service, safety, and operational excellence. Salary DOE
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all hotel operations during the night shift.
- Provide exceptional customer service and respond promptly to guest queries and requests.
- Conduct nightly audits and ensure the accuracy of financial and operational reports.
- Oversee late check-ins, early departures, and guest reservations.
- Ensure the security and safety of guests, employees, and hotel property.
- Conduct scheduled fire and security walks throughout the hotel, checking fire exits, fire doors, emergency lighting, alarm panels, and public areas to ensure compliance with health and safety procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of all fire walks, incident reports, and security checks carried out during the shift.
- Respond promptly and effectively to emergency situations, following established fire safety and evacuation procedures.
- Handle guest complaints and resolve issues professionally and efficiently.
- Support and supervise the night team, ensuring excellent service standards are maintained.
- Liaise effectively with other departments to ensure seamless hotel operations.
- Ensure compliance with hotel policies, procedures, and health and safety regulations.
The ideal candidate will have
- Previous experience in a supervisory or management role within the hospitality industry.
- Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- A proactive and professional approach to problem-solving.
- Strong organisational and administrative skills.
- Experience with hotel property management systems is desirable.
- Flexibility to work overnight shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required.
