We are looking for an enthusiastic, guest-focused bartender to prepare and serve beverages in the Gables Foxrock.
Serving beverages from coffee and wines to cocktails, interacting directly with our guests, and ensure all aspects of the bar from cleanliness, HCAPP, stock levels and general housekeeping are maintained to our highest standards.
- Drink Service: The candidiate must have a good knowledge of Cocktails, be able to prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately following standardised recipes. Bring a level of professionalism to the presentation of drinks
- Customer servcie: Have an excellent knowledge of our menus , and help create a welcoming, engaging atmosphere for our guests.
- Cleanliness & Maintenance: Uphold strict hygiene standards. Carry out daily, weekly cleaning schedules, keep bar area clean and tidy during shifts.
- Stock & Inventory: Monitor product levels, keep strict adherence to all stock control procedures.
- Financial Duties: Accurately record all sales on our POS system, handle cash, and process credit card payments responsibly.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to responsible service of alcohol legislation and monitor our guests for signs of over-intoxication.
Experience and Requirements
- At least 3 years working full time in a bar, hotel or restaurant bar.
- Exceptional customer service and problem-solving skills.
- Being able to work on your own initiative.Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items (e.g. kegs)
- Willingness to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Pay: From €16.00 per hour
