To prepare, cook, and present high-quality food for customers while ensuring food safety, hygiene, and company standards are maintained at all times. The Catering Chef supports daily catering operations and contributes to a positive dining experience for guests.

Prepare and cook meals according to menus, recipes, and customer requirements.

Ensure food is presented attractively and served to a high standard.

Maintain food quality, portion control, and consistency.

Assist with menu planning and development.

Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering supplies.

Receive and store deliveries following food safety procedures.

Ensure compliance with HACCP, food safety, and health & safety regulations.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen areas and equipment.

Minimize food waste and support cost-control initiatives.

Work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house teams.

Support catering functions, events, and special dietary requirements.

Train and support junior kitchen staff when required.

Previous experience as a Chef, Catering Chef, or similar role.

Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen operations.

Understanding of HACCP and food safety legislation.

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and special events as required.

Professional Chef Qualification or equivalent (desirable).
