Kildaragh Cars Ltd : €40,000–€48,000 per annum, DOE
Kildaragh Cars Ltd is looking for a fully qualified and experienced Motor Mechanic to join our busy, professional workshop in Newbridge, Co. Kildare.
This is a full-time, permanent position working across a wide range of vehicle makes and models, including petrol, diesel, hybrid and electric vehicles.
Experience with hybrid or electric vehicles would be an advantage, but it is not essential, as training can be provided to the right candidate.
The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Carrying out routine servicing, maintenance and repairs
- Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults accurately and efficiently
- Completing timing belts, clutches, suspension, brakes and general mechanical repairs
- Carrying out pre-sale inspections and preparing vehicles to a high standard
- Using modern diagnostic equipment and following correct repair procedures
- Identifying parts and reporting any additional work required
- Completing job cards and maintaining accurate workshop records
- Working efficiently as part of a busy and professional team
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment
About You
The ideal candidate will:
- Be a fully qualified Motor Mechanic
- Have strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- Have experience working on a variety of makes and models
- Hold a full, clean driving licence
- Be reliable, punctual and capable of working independently
- Take pride in producing high-quality workmanship
- Have good communication skills and a professional attitude
- Have hybrid or electric vehicle experience, although this is not essential
Hours of Work
Monday to Friday: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
- 1-hour lunch break
- 15-minute tea break
- No regular weekend work
Salary & Benefits
- €40,000–€48,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience
