Shamrock Translations is currently seeking Thai-speaking freelance interpreters to assist with interpreting assignments as they arise.
The majority of the work will involve spoken interpreting between Thai and English, helping individuals communicate clearly during appointments, meetings and other everyday situations.
Assignments may be provided in person, by telephone or online, depending on the requirements of each booking.
About the role
This is flexible freelance work rather than a fixed-hours position. We will contact you when a suitable Thai interpreting assignment becomes available, and you can accept bookings based on your availability.
Typical assignments may include interpreting during:
- Meetings and appointments
- Telephone or video calls
- Public and community services
- General administrative matters
- Other situations where communication between English and Thai is required
Who we would like to hear from
You should have an excellent command of both Thai and English and be confident communicating clearly and accurately between the two languages.
Previous interpreting experience is preferred, although applications from bilingual Thai speakers with strong communication skills and an interest in professional interpreting will also be considered.
You should be reliable, professional, comfortable dealing with different people and situations, and understand the importance of confidentiality.

Pay: €20.00-€25.00 per hour
