The Recycling Operative (Sort & Washline) works as part of the operations Team of the Shabra Group, and is personally responsible for ensuring that all Plastics is sorted and processed on site in accordance with the structures and targets in place.
- Operate a forklift to move, load, and organize recyclable materials safely and efficiently within the facility.
- Material sortation.
- Quality checks, pellet inspection and grading.
- Material selection and weighing.
- Completion of production documentation.
- Carrying out daily checks in accordance with company procedures.
- Plant and site cleaning duties when required.
- Co-operating with site management.
- Working to health and safety, environmental and quality standards as they apply to the process.
- Maintaining high levels of tidiness and housekeeping in the production work area.
- You may at times be required to carry out duties not shown in the outline job description above.
- Report and communicate with Operations Supervisors & manager to maximise machine and production process efficiency
- Carry out duties in such a manner as to comply with the Health & Safety Policy of the company, including:
- Taking reasonable care for your own safety & that of others

- Wearing Personal Protective Equipment at all times
- Not engaging in improper conduct or behaviour
