We are re-opening our doors soon to the Cootehill community and are looking for friendly, energetic, and reliable Waiting Staff to join our launch team. As a member of our front-of-house crew, you will be the face of our diner. You will welcome back our regular customers and serve up great food with a smile. If you love a fast-paced environment, enjoy chatting with locals, and want to be part of an exciting new chapter from day one, we want to hear from you.
What You Will Do
- Greet customers warmly and show them to their tables.
- Take food and drink orders accurately on the till system.
- Serve hot meals and drinks quickly from the kitchen to the tables.
- Clear and wipe down tables to keep the diner clean and tidy.
- Take payments (cash and card) and give correct change.
- Help your teammates whenever the diner gets busy.
What We Are Looking For
- Experience: Previous experience working as a waiter/waitress in a busy café, diner, or restaurant
- Friendly personality: You enjoy talking to people and helping customers.
- Hard worker: You can move fast and stay on your feet during busy hours.
- Team player: You are reliable and get along well with others.
- Flexible: You are available to work weekends and busy lunch shifts.
