Upton Court Hotel & Holiday Cottages Kilmuckridge is part of the Sean Doyle Group, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Assistant Manager for the Upton Court Hotel and Holiday Cottages to join our expanding team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who strives in a fast-paced hospitality environment and enjoys leading a team, delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining high operational standards while working within budgets and developing the business working closely with our team and our sister property Wells House and Gardens.

About the role
The successful candidate will support the day-to-day operation of the hotel while assisting with a refurbishment programme for the hotel and expansion of our offerings in Wells House and Gardens including the redevelopment of our banqueting suite among other projects. You will work closely with the management team in both properties to ensure consistency, quality and a memorable guest experience across both sites.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise daily operations within the hotel.
Lead by example
Previous experience is essential.
Strong Leadership, communication and organisational skills required.
Ability to train, develop and motivate our team.
Attention to detail.
Work closely with our management team to improve efficiencies, systems, cost control, guest satisfaction, stock control, ordering, deliveries, waste management & developing the business overall.
Support event operations, functions and seasonal activities.
Ensure compliance with HACCP, Health & Safety and company policies.
Requirements
Flexibility to work weekdays, weekends, evenings and events.
Must be based in Ireland and attend an interview.
Strong Leadership, communication and organisational skills
Ability to assist with budgets and work within same
Ability to develop, train and motivate the team.
Working closely with department heads
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high standards
