We are looking for a General Operative with driving experience (clean licence, Category B) to provide additional support on assembly processes, keeping the manufacturing areas clean and tidy, assist with moving goods between factory areas, delivering panels to customer sites and collecting materials and equipment from our suppliers. Reporting to the Works Supervisor.
Responsibilities include but are not exclusive to:
- Always adhere to company policies, procedures and safety standards.
- Must be a good time keeper.
- To remain on the job in a productive role.
- To assist with lifting within the manufacturing area.
- Responsibility for delivery of panels to customer sites and collections of materials and goods from suppliers.
- To assist the Works Supervisor.
- To inform Supervisor of any urgently required equipment.
- To inform the Supervisor of any concerns regarding parts/build/people/equipment.
- Ability to promote a good team working environment and be a team player demonstrating flexibility.
- To effectively maintain the tidiness, safety and cleanliness of the manufacturing areas and car park.
- Attend meetings as required/requested.
- To be flexible and co-operative and work across any area of the business is required.
Other ad-hoc duties:
- Wiring and electrical experience and advantage.
- Forklift experience desirable but not essential.
- Must be enthusiastic and a team player.
Working Week: Monday – Thursday
Hours of Work: 7am-5pm.
