About the Client My client is one of Ireland’s leading Field Marketing and Merchandising agencies. With over 35 years of experience, they deliver high-impact retail and brand campaigns for some of the most recognisable names in the FMCG and Retail sectors.
The Role
Reporting to the Senior Management Team, you will take ownership of a premium portfolio of FMCG clients. Acting as the critical bridge between the Client Services and Operations teams, you will drive implementation excellence across all campaigns while leading and developing a team of three direct reports.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Client Management: Manage and grow a dedicated portfolio of FMCG clients, acting as their primary point of contact and building trusted commercial relationships.
- Campaign Delivery: Translate client briefs into actionable, flawless implementation plans for the field teams, overseeing logistics, staff training, scheduling, and reporting.
- Team Leadership: Line-manage, coach, and support the professional development of three direct reports.
- Quality Assurance: Carry out daily QA checks on field implementation via proprietary reporting platforms, proactively resolving any operational issues.
- Data & Reporting: Generate, analyse, and present daily, weekly, and campaign-end reports to clients, identifying opportunities to add further value.
- Vendor Management: Liaise with third-party providers (warehousing, logistics, print partners) to ensure field teams are fully equipped with required POS and materials.
What You Need to Succeed:
- Experience: Proven Account Management or Client Services experience, ideally within field marketing, merchandising, FMCG, or a fast-paced agency environment.
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel. This role involves significant data analysis and reconciliation, so comfort with formulas, pivot tables, and large datasets is essential.
- Leadership: Previous experience managing, mentoring, or leading direct reports.
- Skills: Exceptional organisational and communication skills, with the ability to confidently present to clients and manage competing deadlines.
- Bonus: A full, clean driving licence and familiarity with campaign management or field reporting platforms are highly desirable.
