Duty Manager
Devoy’s Boutique Hotel, Johnstown, Co. Kildare
We are now recruiting an experienced Duty Manager to join our opening team.
This is an exciting opportunity for a confident hospitality professional who enjoys being on the floor, supporting teams, and helping to create a smooth and welcoming guest experience across the hotel, bar, café, restaurant, and events spaces.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a busy fast paced restaurant or busy fast pace bar, or busy hospitality environment, with strong leadership skills and a hands-on approach.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Managing the daily hotel and food & beverage operations while on duty
- Supporting and leading front-of-house, bar, café, and restaurant teams
- Leading the team assigned to you
- Ensuring excellent guest service at all times
- Handling guest queries and resolving issues professionally
- Supporting opening and closing procedures
- Maintaining standards across service, cleanliness, presentation, and team performance
- Working closely with senior management to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous supervisory or management experience in hospitality - ideally in food or beverage operation
- Strong communication and people skills
- Confidence in managing a busy floor
- A calm, professional approach under pressure
- Good knowledge of food and beverage service
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and shifts as required
- A genuine passion for hospitality and guest experience

Pay: €33,000.00-€38,000.00 per year
