PIPEFUSION LTD are currently looking for an experienced and competent Electrofusion Welder to join our team.
Experience of laying Water mains to Irish water spec essential.
Hold a relevant Electrofusion Welding accredited certificate, Safepass & Manual Handling are required.
Butt Welding experience would also be advantageous.
Most of the work is in the Leinster area but possibly other areas when needed too.
Job Duties & Requirements:
- Perform electrofusion welding in line with specifications and Uisce Éireann standards.
- Carry out fusion jointing of polyethylene pressure pipeline systems using PE80 (MDPE) and PE100 (HDPE/HPPE) materials.
- Demonstrate knowledge of watermain installation procedures, including house connections, and carry out pipe cleaning and scraping to prevent failures.
- Maintain a strong understanding of all pipe fittings and fittings associated with house connections.
- Work effectively on own initiative with a strong work ethic.
- Experience in butt fusion welding is an advantage.
