You support our team as
- This involves but is not limited to:
- Leading Lean implementation across the site and support Lean systems training activities, Kaizen events and visual management throughout the site
- Implement and maintain MDI boards for all cells
- Execute monthly 5S audits on all assigned cells in a timely manner
- Complete accurate time observation sheets as required & Conduct line balancing exercises
- Maintain current state value stream maps for key products
- Coach other staff in Lean systems methodologies, teach them to see waste and facilitate structured problem solving (Problem statement, Ishikawa, 5 whys etc.)
- Highlight opportunities for improvement within the clean rooms using the TIMWOOD categories
- Ensure GROWTTH methodologies are adhered to and that GROWTTH and Lean Business becomes ingrained in the company culture.
- Ensure that all changes are implemented in compliance with the QMS, (ISO13485 / FDA 21 CFR Part 820 QMSR) and the OH&S, Environmental and Energy Management Systems (ISO 45001, ISO 14001 and ISO 50001) and other regulatory requirements relevant to the Company.
- Ensure that health and safety requirements are considered before implementing change so that potential hazards or risks are identified and mitigated.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business / Manufacturing / Engineering / Life Sciences or 5+ years’ experience in a Growtth Technician role in a medical device environment plus Certified Lean Systems Black Belt and Six Sigma Green Belt
- Knowledge and experience of continuous improvement methodology (Kaizen, 3P, 5S, SMED, MDI etc)
- Experience in Project Management with expertise in co-ordinating project teams including motivation of staff, coaching/training, follow up on actions
- Desirable:
- Experience in Visual Management, 5S and MDI is desirable.
- Knowledge and understanding of ISO 13485 and FDA 21 CFR Part 820 QMSR requirements an advantage
