From building spectacular rinks to ensuring every single skater has a safe, smooth, and unforgettable time on the ice, we pride ourselves on precision, teamwork, and high standards. As we gear up for our winter season, we are looking for a dedicated individual to join our warehouse crew and help us lay the groundwork for success.
Role Overview
As a Warehouse Operative, you will be a crucial member of the team responsible for maintaining and preparing ice-skating equipment (particularly skates) to meet a strict deadline. All skates must be fully cleaned, sharpened, repaired, labeled, and in place by the agreed dates. You will also assist with routine warehouse duties and maintenance tasks to ensure everything is ready for the upcoming season.
This role is highly suitable for a student looking for summer work. We are seeking a good, reliable worker who is proactive and can work confidently on their own initiative without constant supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Skate Preparation: Clean, sharpen, repair, and label skates by the specified deadline.
- Warehouse Maintenance: Assist in general warehouse upkeep, including cleaning lights, power-washing floor matting, and organizing materials.
- Independent Working: Efficiently manage your time and tasks with minimal supervision, ensuring standards remain high.
- Team Collaboration: Coordinate with other team members to ensure overall targets and deadlines are met.
- Inventory Management: Track and report equipment that has been repaired or replaced.
- Health & Safety: Adhere to all health and safety regulations, keeping the warehouse tidy and hazard-free.
Pay: €11.32-€14.15 per hour
