Site Manager – Galway (Tuam/Portumna)
Due to continued growth, OCC Construction are seeking to appoint a Site Manager to join our team in Galway, offering excellent opportunities for career progression and development.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage day-to-day site operations to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and to a high standard
- Coordinate and oversee subcontractors, trades, and suppliers on-site
- Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety legislation, company standards, and project requirements
- Monitor project progress and report regularly to senior management
- Chair and coordinate site meetings with clients, engineers, and design teams
- Maintain strict quality control and ensure works are delivered in line with specifications
- Manage site logistics, sequencing of works, and programme delivery
- Collaborate with commercial and project teams to ensure alignment with budgets and timelines
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Site Manager, Site Foreman, or Construction Supervisor, ideally with a main contractor
- Strong knowledge of Irish building regulations, BCAR requirements, and construction best practice
- Experience delivering residential and/or commercial projects
- Strong track record managing subcontractors and site teams
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Comfortable using IT tools and construction management systems (e.g. Procore or similar)
- Excellent leadership, organisation, and communication skills
- Full clean driving licence
