Apprentice Electrician/Maintenance/Engineering
Weatherglaze Systems is seeking an Apprentice Electrician to join our team. This position offers the opportunity to develop practical skills and industry experience while working alongside qualified electrician.
Role Overview
The successful candidate will assist with the installation, maintenance, testing, and repair of electrical installations while completing their apprenticeship and receiving ongoing on-site training.
Key Responsibilities
· Assist qualified electrician with electrical installations, maintenance, and repair work.
· Install wiring systems, containment, fixtures, and electrical equipment under supervision.
· Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and installation layouts.
· Measure, cut, bend, and install conduit and containment systems.
· Safely operate hand and power tools in accordance with company procedures.
· Assist with fault finding and testing of electrical systems.
· Maintain a safe, clean, and organised work environment.
· Adhere to all health and safety requirements, company policies, and current electrical regulations.
· Participate fully in both on-site and off-site apprenticeship training.
· Production Line Supports
· Electromechanical Supports
· PLC/Software diagnostics
· Part of efficiency projects
· Any other ad hoc duties as requested by management

Essential Requirements
· Full, clean driver’s licence (essential).
· Reliable transport.
· Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
· Reliable, punctual, and professional approach to work.
· Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
· Commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and workmanship.
