Brunch Chef – Morning Shift | Bakery Café – Ashtown, Dublin 15
Baked and Bottled is seeking a strong and creative Chef to join our bakery café in Ashtown, Dublin 15.
Position: Chef (full time)
Shift: Wednesday to Sunday (35 - 40 hours per week) From 7:30am
Start Date: in 3 weeks.
Salary: Negotiable, depending on experience
Responsibilities
- Prepare high-quality brunch dishes, sandwiches, and toasties
- Develop and create new menu items
- Maintain full compliance with HSE food hygiene standards
- Follow and implement HACCP procedures, including documentation
- Ensure a clean, efficient, and well-organised kitchen
- Work independently and support smooth day-to-day operations
Requirements
- Strong experience in independent cafés or restaurants
- (Experience from fast-food chains or large franchises will not be considered)
- Proven ability in brunch-style cooking and sandwich/toastie preparation
- Solid understanding of HSE hygiene requirements and HACCP systems
- Familiarity with European-style dishes and ingredients
- Creative, proactive, and able to contribute to menu development
- Good English communication skills
