We are currently recruiting for a AFTERSCHOOL EDUCATOR in our Crèche in Knocknacarra Galway.
the successful candidate
- mimimum of level 5 in EARLY YEARS Qualification.
- must be fluent in ENGLISH.
- Good knowledge of Gaelic/Irish
- job is part-time 25hrs per week during school term and fulltime during non school Term.
- this position is not just for the summer months it will continue on come september.
- do homework with the children
- have a good knowledge of the Siolta and Aistear Framework
- Able to Plan, implement, observe, stimulate, the daily weekly monthly curriculum.
- be creative with the children
- Develop appropriate learning activity to facilitate the stage each child is at.
- maintain a clean, safe, organized class in line with guidelines, and ensuring a safe and secure environment for the children in their care
- form a good relationship with parents
- work well as part of a team.
- be enthusiastic and motivate, passion in their daily routine
- to work in close co-operation with the manager and other team members.
- Excellent communication skills.
QUALIFICATIONS:
must have EARLY CHILDHOOD CARE AND EDUCATION LEVEL EQUILIVANT
minimum of level 6 or high cert or degrees
