Boluda Corporación Marítima was founded in 1837, with the establishment of la Naviera Fos.
In 1920, Vicente Boluda Marí founded the tugboat company Vicente Boluda in the port of Valencia, that took over other Spanish ports under the control of his son, Vicente Boluda Crespo. In 1982, Vicente Boluda Fos took over the company, with the firm intent of the internationalization and diversification of the enterprise’s activities. Thus, he converted it into Boluda Corporación Marítima, a leading company in maritime services with a presence throughout Europe, the African Westcoast, Cape Verde, Latin America and the Indian Ocean.
Organised into two strategic divisions: Boluda Towage (towing service) and Boluda Shipping (sea/land transport and port logistics).
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Collaborating closely with the Customer Care Team to provide outstanding customer service.
- Coordinating with internal stakeholders to exceed service level targets and develop solutions that align with both customer needs and Boluda Lines' business objectives.
- Participating in initiatives to drive improvements and identify cross-selling opportunities for Boluda Shipping' products and services.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
· Provide exceptional customer service to all Boluda Shipping customers via telephone and email.
· Achieve customer satisfaction by meeting customer-specific key performance indicators (KPIs) targets.
· Oversee the entire Export and Import lifecycle using in-house systems.
· Serve as the central point for handling exceptions, special customer demands, unexpected shipment disruptions, issues, and complaints, offering appropriate solutions within committed timelines.
· Coordinate with internal teams, management, and overseas offices to ensure timely resolution.
· Facilitate communication among different teams
· Support continuous improvement of processes and procedures within the Import/Export department and suggest ideas for organizational enhancements.
· Address customer complaints professionally and contribute to root cause analysis and continuous improvement.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
· Professional and confident demeanour on the telephone
· High resilience and the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a dynamic, customer-focused setting
· Proficiency in establishing and managing effective relationships with a variety of stakeholders, including colleagues, internal teams, and customers
· Excellent analytical and data management abilities, with a strong attention to detail
· Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
· Strong IT proficiency, with proven experience in working with in-house systems, CRMs, and MS Office packages
· Minimum 1 Years Experience in the Shipping, Freight Forwarding, Airfreight or Logistics sector
