Estimator, Ventilation Projects
1 Year Fixed-Term Contract (Maternity Cover)
We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team and support the tendering and delivery of a wide range of ventilation projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate quotations, ensuring compliance with project specifications, and providing technical support throughout the sales process.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate and competitive quotations for ventilation projects.
- Review drawings, specifications, and tender documentation to ensure compliance with customer requirements.
- Prepare technical submissions and supporting documentation for project approvals.
- Maintain quotation logs, sales funnel reports, and project records.
- Liaise with sales, production, management, and other internal departments to support project delivery.
- Assist the PECS department with sales order processing, logistics coordination, and customer service requirements.
- Provide technical support and product guidance to the sales team.
- Keep up to date with industry developments, market trends, and product innovations.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with contractors, customers, and key stakeholders.
Requirements
- 1 to 2 years’ experience in an estimating role, ideally within ventilation, HVAC, mechanical services, or a related sector.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and project requirements. CAD experience required.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tenders and deadlines effectively.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
