QA/QC Inspector / NDT Technician
Main Responsibilities
- Inspector or senior inspector based at pharmaceutical site in Clonmel area
- Responsible for inspection & maintaining site integrity and inspection program. Program consists of Visual inspection, Ultrasonic Testing, PMI, DPI/MPI, Radiography testing of on site pipelines and vessels.
- Effectively communicate with management, team members and client staff
- Familiarise with site rules & permitting system
- Complete test inspection, report findings to the applicable standard
- Maintaining and evaluating the condition of NDT equipment
- Competent in Non-Destructive Testing/RBI/Plant Inspection
- Complying with all safety and quality policies of the company and client site
- Successful candidate required to have some flexibility in hours available to work
Work Environment
- Predominantly at pharmaceutical API site but other site visits maybe required.
- When performing some NDT/Inspection tasks there can be varying access issues including confined space and working at height, so a basic level of fitness is required
- Normal hours of work – Mon-Thurs 08:00-16:30, Fri 08:00-15:30 but some out of hours will be required from time to time
Requirements
Education: A good degree of English is required
Qualification: One or Multiple of the following certificates is preferred: API, PCN, CSWIP or a degree in Mechanical / Chemical Engineering (recent graduates will be considered).
Salary: Negotiable - dependent on qualifications and experience
Licence: A full driver’s licence is required

Physical demands: Inspections demands a high level of sight & colour-blind tests. When performing some NDT/Inspection tasks there can be varying access issues including confined space and working at height, so a basic level of fitness is required. Some equipment can also be heavy.
