SALARY
- €22.50 per hour (Day Duty)
- €24.50 per hour (Night Duty)
- Enhanced rates apply for Bank Holiday working
- All break times are fully paid, meaning that for every 12-hour shift worked, you are paid for the full 12 hours

Established for 30 years, Asgard Lodge Nursing Home is a 34-bed family-run nursing home located in the beautiful seaside town of Arklow, Co. Wicklow.
We pride ourselves on providing high-quality, person-centred care within a warm and supportive environment where residents are known personally by the team caring for them.
As part of our nursing team, you will be supported by an experienced management structure including a Director of Nursing, Assistant Director of Nursing and Clinical Nurse Manager, all of whom are readily available to provide guidance, support and mentorship.
Accommodation may be available for suitably qualified candidates holding an active NMBI PIN and previous experience working in Ireland as a Registered General Nurse.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Deliver high-quality, person-centred nursing care to residents
- Ensure residents are treated with dignity, privacy and respect at all times
- Administer medications safely and in accordance with professional guidelines and company policies
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation and care records
- Work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Support the implementation and maintenance of HIQA standards within the Home
- Promote the physical, emotional and social wellbeing of residents
- Contribute positively to the warm and supportive culture of Asgard Lodge Nursing Home
REQUIREMENTS
- Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI) and holding an active PIN
- Excellent English language skills, both written and verbal
- Eligibility to work in Ireland
- Strong communication, interpersonal and listening skills
- A caring, professional and resident-centred approach to nursing care
- Previous experience working as a Registered General Nurse in Ireland is desirable
