We are currently looking for reliable and hardworking Construction Ground Worker to join our team. The successful candidates will work alongside site managers, tradespeople and other construction staff to help ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting skilled tradespeople and site management with general construction duties.
- Loading, unloading and moving materials around the site.
- Preparing and maintaining work areas.
- Using hand tools and basic equipment safely.
- Assisting with deliveries and keeping materials organised.
- Carrying out general labouring duties as required.
- Maintaining a clean, tidy and safe working environment.
- Following all site health and safety procedures.
- Wearing and maintaining the required PPE at all times.
- Supporting the wider site team with additional duties as required.
Requirements
- Previous experience working on a construction site is desirable but not essential.
- Good understanding of construction site health and safety.
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
- Physically fit and able to carry out manual work.
- Ability to work well as part of a team.
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Ability to follow instructions and work safely.
- Safe Pass and Manual Handling desirable.
- Dumper Digger CSCS is a benefit but not essential.
- Full clean drivers licence.
