Truck and Bus Parts, based on the Longmile Road, Dublin 12, are Irelands leading parts supplier to the HGV aftermarket sector. An exciting opportunity now exists for a Credit Controller in our growing accounts department. The Position is primarily office based but applicant is required to have own means of transport for bank runs. The hours are 8.30am to 4.30pm
The Role:
· Control over debtor’s ledger.
· Daily collection of outstanding debts by phone and email
· Assist Sales Reps with Cash Sale Accounts Debt Collection
· Preparation and Processing of the direct debit collection files
· Daily posting and accurately allocating of all cash receipts to the system (Bank/Visas/cash etc)
· Bank Runs as required.
· Prompt response and resolutions to customer queries as they arise.
· Authority to release/stop orders dependent on credit status.
· Work Closely with Credit Insurers reporting.
· Opening of new accounts and ensuring process followed
· The daily invoice and credit note run.
· Month End Tasks (Statements/Bank Rec/Reports etc)
· Maintaining customer account details (emails/credit limits/addresses etc)
· Management reporting as required.
· General ad hoc duties as required.
The Candidate:
· The ideal candidate should have experience in a credit control role, but this is not essential.
· Proficient in using financial software and MS Office, especially Excel.
· Professional, Clear and Confident communicator
· Strong attention to detail
· Works well as part of a team and on their own initiative.
· Strong work ethics and initiative-taking.
· Have the capacity to problem solve and build and maintain relationships.
