About the Role
Due to continued growth, we are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Deputy Manager to join our leadership team.
This is an exciting opportunity for an Early Years professional who is passionate about supporting children to learn, grow and thrive. Working closely with the Manager, the successful candidate will play a key role in leading our team, supporting quality practice and helping shape the future of our service.
The role will initially involve a combination of office-based responsibilities and direct work within the rooms. As the service continues to grow, there may be opportunities for the position to develop further into a management-focused role.

Key Responsibilities
- Support the Manager in the day-to-day operation of the service.
- Lead, mentor and support staff to ensure high standards of care and education.
- Promote a positive, collaborative and professional team culture.
- Assist with staff supervision, onboarding and professional development.
- Support administrative duties, rostering, occupancy management and record keeping.
- Ensure compliance with Tusla regulations, policies and procedures.
- Build strong relationships with children, families and external agencies.
- Support quality improvement initiatives in line with Aistear and Síolta.
- Act as Person in Charge in the Manager's absence.
Essential Requirements
- Minimum Level 7 qualification in Early Childhood Care and Education or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years' experience working within an Early Years setting.
- Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.
- Knowledge of Tusla regulations, Aistear and Síolta.
Desirable Requirements
- Level 8 qualification in Early Childhood Care and Education or a related field.
- A minimum of 2 years' management experience within an Early Years setting is highly desirable.
- Experience leading, mentoring and supporting teams.
- Experience with staff supervision, performance management and professional development.
- Confidence using childcare management and administration systems.

Pay: €34,000.00-€42,000.00 per year
