Banqueting Manager
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced hospitality professional to join our management team as a Banqueting Manager.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and hardworking individual with a passion for delivering high standards of service. The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment and take a hands-on approach to their role. This position requires someone who can manage events from start to finish and ensure every guest has a memorable experience.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day running of banqueting operations, ensuring all events run smoothly and meet company standards
- Ensure all banqueting areas are set up correctly and on time, maintaining high standards of food, beverage and service
- Communicate effectively with the kitchen and other departments before and during service
- Conduct team briefings covering service standards, presentation, and procedures
- Plan and organise events in line with guest requirements
- Be actively involved across other outlets (restaurant/bar) during busy service periods
- Support other operational departments as required
- Lead, motivate and support staff, recognising performance and encouraging development
- Delegate tasks effectively and ensure responsibilities are clearly understood
- Assist with recruitment, induction and training of team members
- Ensure health, safety and welfare standards are maintained at all times
- Monitor equipment and work practices to ensure a safe working environment
- Record and report any accidents or incidents in line with company procedures
- Maintain full compliance with food hygiene and allergen regulations
- Adhere to company policies regarding cash handling and credit card procedures
Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience in a similar role within a hotel environment
- Strong knowledge of Food & Beverage operations
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Strong leadership, organisational and time management abilities
- Experience in training and developing C&B teams
- High standards of presentation and service etiquette
- Fluent English
Pay: €40,000.00-€45,000.00 per year
